Britanny Goings
About
Brittany Goings's passion for French was first inspired by her high school teachers. She went on to obtain a B.A. in French & Secondary Education with a minor in International Studies from Central College (Pella, IA) and an M.A. in French language, literature, and culture from Colorado State University (Fort Collins, Colorado). Her scholarly work included a thesis on student motivation and cultural learning, a year of study in Paris at the Institut Catholique de Paris and Chambre de Commerce et d'Industrie de Paris, and a Corporate Social Responsibility internship in France at SNCF (National Society of French railways) where she learned about French commerce, politics, literature, and daily life. These experiences form the approach of Goings as a French educator at an International Baccalaureate high school in Colorado.
Goings has been an integral part of the author team for two Wayside Publishing titles, APprenons with Elizabeth Zwanziger,Elizabeth Rench, and Brittany Selden Griffin, and EntreCultures 1 with Elizabeth Zwanziger, Hélène Schuster and Ed Weiss.
