John McMullan
About
The late John McMullan spent his career as a teacher and textbook writer. He taught AP® Spanish Language and Literature for many years at the Millbrook School. John participated as a leader in the correction of the spoken portion of the Advanced Placement® Spanish Language Exam for the College Board. He received his bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Hamilton College and his master’s degree from Middlebury College.
McMullan and his wife, Barbara Gatski, envisioned the original concept of Triángulo, which has seen many revisions over the last 25 years, including Triángulo Aprobado, 5th Edition. Most recently, he was an integral part of the author team for Triángulo APreciado 6.ª with Cecilia Herrera, Frank Masel, and Louis Baskinger.
In his spare time, John enjoyed fishing, gardening, and long walks with Millie, the Beagle.
