Janet Parker

About

Janet D. Parker lives in Williamsburg, Virginia, and is currently at the College of William & Mary as adjunct instructor of World Language Education, training future world language teachers in research-based best practice for learning languages. She has taught all levels of Spanish, including AP® Language, AP® Literature, and IB Spanish B, SL and HL, in Montgomery County (Maryland) Public Schools for 25 years. She served as a College Board Spanish AP® consultant, and AP® Exam reader and an IB examiner. After growing up in in Latin America, studying in Spain and traveling to many Spanish-speaking countries, Janet says, “soy Latina de corazón y alma, pero no de nacimiento.”

Parker is on the author team for Tejidos, along with Catherine Schwenkler and Megan Cory.
