Rebecca Gould

About

Rebecca Gould was inspired by her incredible high school French teacher to continue her studies of French at the university level and eventually become a French teacher herself. She taught all levels of secondary French for 17 years in North Texas and coached students at French language and culture competitions. She worked as an English Teaching Assistant in a high school in Nancy, France through TAPIF. She has also worked as a curriculum writer, an AP College Board reader, an educational researcher, and an instructional designer. She is active in her local AATF chapter and worked as the National French Contest administrator. She has a B.A. and M.A. in French, as well as an M.Ed. in Educational Technology with certifications in online instructional design and e-learning. She is passionate about empowering world language educators to inspire their students to communicate in the target language in an engaging way with the use of technology.
